We are excited to announce that our lab director, Dr. Shalini Lal was an invited speaker at the Digital Health Canada / ANHIX Calgary Winter Conference on February 6th, 2024!
The Calgary Winter Conference is an annual event that is organized in collaboration with ANHIX (Alberta Network for Health Information eXchange Society). It is attended by prominent figures, experts, executives, and individuals involved in the healthcare industry from Calgary and nearby regions.
Dr. Lal presented on the topic of digital health innovations to improve access to mental health services. Her presentation highlighted the importance of focusing on mental health, discussed barriers that technology can help overcome, and described PRISM, a Pathway for Rapid, Internet-based, Self-referral to Mental health services for youth, as one example of a digital health initiative that can help to reduce barriers to accessing care.

Nous sommes ravis d'annoncer que le 6 février dernier, notre directrice de laboratoire, Shalini Lal, a participé à la conférence d'hiver Digital Health Canada / ANHIX tenue à Calgary à titre de conférencière invitée !
La conférence hivernale de Calgary est un événement annuel organisé en collaboration avec ANHIX (Alberta Network for Health Information eXchange Society). Elle réunit des personnalités, des experts, des cadres ainsi que d'autres personnes impliquées dans le domaine de la santé de Calgary et des régions voisines.
Professeure Lal a réalisé une présentation sur les innovations numériques afin d'améliorer l'accès aux services de santé mentale. Sa présentation a souligné l'importance de se concentrer sur la santé mentale et a discuté des obstacles que la technologie peut aider à surmonter, en donnant l'exemple de PRISM, un Parcours d'autoréférence Rapide, via Internet, aux services de santé mentale pour les jeunes.
