Le laboratoire SMJ-techno accueille plusieurs nouveaux stagiaires de recherche dans son équipe cet été !
Sarra completed her Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences in the Psychiatric Sciences stream and is currently a Master’s student in the Occupational Therapy program at the University of Montreal. She is interested in youth mental health and wants to increase her knowledge of how technology can be used to modernize access to youth mental health services.
Sarra a récemment complété une maîtrise en sciences biomédicales option sciences psychiatriques à la faculté de médecine et elle est actuellement étudiante dans le programme de maîtrise en ergothérapie à l’école de réadaptation de l’Université de Montréal. Elle s'intéresse à la santé mentale des jeunes et désire améliorer ses connaissances sur la modernisation de l'accès à des services de santé mentale pour les jeunes par l’utilisation de la technologie.
Rahul has completed his first year at the University of Waterloo in Computer Science. He is fascinated by how technology can be used to assist and play a role in providing high quality mental health care.
Rahul a complété sa première année à l'Université de Waterloo en sciences informatiques. Il est fasciné par la façon dont la technologie peut être utilisée pour soutenir et jouer un rôle dans la prestation de soins de santé mentale de haute qualité.
Kawtar completed a Bachelor of Science with a minor in Life Sciences, and is currently a medical student at the University of Ottawa. She is interested in the delivery of mental health services to youth, and how we can reduce accessibility barriers to mental health services.
Kawtar a complété un baccalauréat en sciences avec une mineure en sciences de la vie et est présentement étudiante en médecine à l’Université d’Ottawa. Elle s’intéresse à la prestation de services de santé mentale aux jeunes et à la façon dont nous pouvons réduire les obstacles liés à l’accessibilité aux services de santé mentale.
Sam has completed his first year in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. He is interested in how technology can be used to deliver better, more accessible mental health care to people in need.
Samuel vient de terminer sa première année en génie biomédical à l’Université de Waterloo. Il s’intéresse aux manières d’utiliser la technologie afin de faire parvenir aux gens des soins de santé mentale plus efficaces et accessibles.
Lily is a fourth-year undergraduate Psychology student at McGill University. She is interested in applied psychology, and how we can increase the adoption of novel technologies for delivering mental health care in order to improve the support services available to youth.
Lily est une étudiante en quatrième année de premier cycle en psychologie à l'Université McGill. Elle s'intéresse à la psychologie appliquée et à la façon dont nous pouvons favoriser le recours à de nouvelles technologies pour la prestation de soins de santé mentale afin d'améliorer les services de soutien offerts aux jeunes.
Over the summer, our interns will be involved in the PRISM-AOM, HoryzonsCa, YEMHR, as well as in other ongoing projects at the lab!
Tout au long de l'été, nos stagiaires seront impliqués dans les projets PRISM-AEO, HoryzonsCa, JePARLE, ainsi que dans d'autres projets en cours au laboratoire !
